Property Tax Referendum Survey *Deadline Extended*: July 28, 2024 The Village of Maple Bluff is facing financial difficulties due to state levy limits and inflation, which have caused expenses to surpass property tax revenues. This has led to reliance on the reserve fund and staff shortages as nearby employers offer better compensation. Currently, the Village employs 20 full-time staff across various departments.
