Property Tax Referendum Survey *Deadline Extended*: July 28, 2024 The Village of Maple Bluff is facing financial difficulties due to state levy limits and inflation, which have caused expenses to surpass property tax revenues. This has led to reliance on the reserve fund and staff shortages as nearby employers offer better compensation. Currently, the Village employs 20 full-time staff across various departments. To address these challenges, the Village Board of Trustees is considering a property tax levy increase, which will be on the November 2024 ballot. The Village's final Concert in the Park will occur on Monday, August 5th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Water Street Jacks,  originally scheduled for July 15, 2024, will end our 2024 series. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. As a reminder, pets are not allowed at Village Community events for the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.
