Independence Day Also called the Fourth of July, Independence Day is a federal holiday that marks the historic date in 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress. The written declaration stated that the American colonies were tired of being ruled by Great Britain and wanted to become their own country. The Village Office will be closed in observance of this holiday.

Property Tax Referendum Survey *Deadline Extended*: July 28, 2024 The Village of Maple Bluff is facing financial difficulties due to state levy limits and inflation, which have caused expenses to surpass property tax revenues. This has led to reliance on the reserve fund and staff shortages as nearby employers offer better compensation. Currently, the Village employs 20 full-time staff across various departments. The Village's final Concert in the Park will occur on Monday, August 5th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Water Street Jacks,  originally scheduled for July 15, 2024, will end our 2024 series. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. As a reminder, pets are not allowed at Village Community events for the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.
